Bas is an extremely capable producer. Does it involve theater? large public events with major constructions? Film shoots? He doesn’t shy away from anything! With their thoroughness, punctuality and hands-on mentality, no job is too big and no job goes unfinished. Bas also keeps an impeccable overview, where gaps occur in the team Bas jumps in and of course not with a 9-to-5 mentality (except of course when it comes to Dolly Parton tunes) but with a ‘getting the job done’ mentality. To your question; can they fix it? There is only one answer possible: Abso f*cking lutely!
Rotterdam Rooftop Days 2022
The Rotterdam Rooftop Walk (RRW) is a route over and between roofs where visitors can experience the city from above and experience the possibilities of roof use. The walk tells the story of the yet underused potential of flat roofs and lets visitors experience how a different perspective on all that unused space can lead to a sustainable vision of the city and how we (will) experience it. Art and culture are interwoven throughout the program and reflect on the city, roof use and Rotterdam’s heritage. In one month we will let 200,000 visitors experience the potential of Rotterdam’s roofs. Bas is the General Producer (AP) for the RRW, they will bring together the work of the programmer, technical producer and all supporting crew. As AP, bas is responsible for the realization of the Rotterdam Rooftop Walk in the broadest sense, the permits, the communication between all parties, recruiting and managing the location managers, crowd management and the visitor experience.

Virgiel Theater Production 2014
Virgiel is a student association in Delft. Annually, they bring the biggest student musical production of Delft to the stage in Theater de Veste. In 2014 Bas was in a committee of six, as commissioner of Play and Stage Setting, being responsible for the wellbeing and performance of the players and the set design and partly responsible for the creation of the very successful production Pippin. Both nights were completely sold out.
